I did a BFZ draft a couple days ago, and wanted to build a budget Modern deck around what I drafted. This is a rough skeleton; it needs a lot of work. Any advice is welcome, I'm looking for suggestions for better ways to abuse landfall.
Trigger landfall. Kill stuff. -Evolving Wilds triggers Landfall twice-Swell of Growth drops a land and directly boosts your critters-Courser of Kruphix helps you get those land drops and gains life-Sorceries to ramp mana and double up on landfall-Everything else kills stuff

Feedback would be greatly appreciated!

You want fetchlands. That way, more than one land can touch down per turn. Nissa, Vastwood Seer would be good too, seeing as once she flips her plus one allow you to play the top card of your deck if it's a land. Maybe a Courser of Kruphix? That way, you play the top card of your deck if it's a land and you'd gain life. Also saves you dropping land from your hand which makes the hand seem more threatening.
Also, a Nissa Worldwaker maybe.
Thanks for the feedback! Definitely adding Courser of Kruphix, and replacing Gruul Turf with more fetchlands. Nissa Vastwood Seer would be awesome, but is probably out for budget reasons. I might be able to fit one Worldwaker, though. EDIT: Working on a tight budget, Tarkir fetch lands are out, which means I'll have to settle for Evolving Wilds and maybe Myriad Landscape? Courser of Kruphix is also a tad expensive. If I have to choose, should I go with one Nissa Worldwaker or a couple Coursers?
Probably Coursers. Worlwaker's ultimate is her only ability that gets land out and it's be quite hard to get to whereas Courser is a big body, it gains life and allows you to play top decked lands.
Fair enough. I've dropped Gruul Turf in exchange for another Evolving Wilds, and I made room for three Coursers. Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse are the only Modern legal fetch lands I can get on a budget. Should I try to fit in a few of the latter?
Blighted Woodland could be worth a look.
That has potential. If I do add some, would you add those on top of my 23 lands, or in place of a couple basics and/or dual lands?
Possibly put them on top of the 23. It is a landfall deck after all.
Fair enough. I'll have to drop a couple other cards if i do, though. I'll figure it out. Thanks for all your feedback!
All I suggest for now is that you add some decent removal. Other than that, a fine looking deck!
Thanks! Would you add those the sideboard, or make room in the main deck?
Preferably in the main deck, since (creature) removal is handy like 90% of the time.
Fair enough. I'll get some burn spells in there, but I'd prefer to keep it to 60 cards, so I'll have to drop some stuff. Is Flame Slash good enough, or should I go for an instant for less damage but more utility?
Flame Slash is pretty good. It'll do just fine.

Final question, then, is what can I afford to cut to make room?
Well, at least Makindi Sliderunner is nearly strictly worse than Gnarlid, so you could remove one of them or so. One land (probably Rugged Highlands) could(?) also be removed, thanks to the mana ramp. Valakut Predator is pretty cool, but I think you would do just fine with just 3 of them. And about the fourth one...How about one Swell of Growth? I'm not sure.
Sounds good, thanks again for your feedback!
Makindi Sliderunner is a boss!
