New generation 3S ("Star Spangled Slaughter") + 1S...the infamous "Stiflenought"
Mantis Rider - In my opinion every stiflenought deck should have some kinda "plan B" on mainboard, for the whole concept is very high-risk-high-return by nature. Looks like some people go for hand destruction or different synergies. I just chose a simple midrange beatdown just like the original SSS...as long as the creature has blue in it, Force of Will can go a loooooong wayVision Charm - As an initial key to unlock the big guy, I like it more than anything else for several reasons. Doing a great job protecting Dreadnought from spot removal and boardwipes, on some occasions you can mill yourself (like when having a shitty hand +next 2 cards that you can't shuffle away even after Brainstorming). Depending on opponent's style and how s/he manages graveyard, you can also go for a milling tactic using this and Jace's Phantasm...if 5 or 6 cards get piled up easily on a regular basis, making a 5/5 flying object is worth tryingEnlightened Tutor - You can have Trinket Mage as the main recruiter of Dreadnought, but this one can also search out Sundial, Torpor Orb, and some enchantments like Blood Moon after sideboarding...adding so much flexibilityRenegade Doppelganger, Boros Charm, Fling, Shrapnel Blast, Pandemonium - Each has its own strengths and weaknesses, just adding some "spices" to the Dreadnought strategy. If haste or double strike is all you wanna give it, Reckless Charge or Assault Strobe would be good enough. Either way, it'll take at least 2 turns to get it done
