The core of the Hexproof Aura deck is pretty obvious and well known. I like to think the few cards I have added make my version tuned well, especially for the MTGO metagame.
Unique cards outside the standard archetype:Qasali Pridemage: Exalted is great. He attacks as a 3/3 alone. And he is naturalize on a bear. This card is so efficient, if my opponent takes a turn to deal with him I am usually happy and if they ignore him I am usually happy too. He just adds value to the deck. Having main deck artifact removal (which does not take away from the strategy of the deck at all) provides good game 1 matchups against Blue and their Spire Golemns, Tron decks, and the mirror. Kruphix's insight: you need a midgame draw to keep up steam. Either this or Snake Umbra, both are good choices. Sprout: My personal tech and favorite trick in the deck. This card is designed for all of the Mono Black running around online. Sacrifice effects are one of the greatest weaknesses of this deck, but for 1 green mana you can basically counter any chainer's edict. They never see this coming. On rare occasions I have had a sprout token drop in during an opponents end phase and surprise attack for the win with a 10/10 token out of nowhere. I don't know why no one else has noticed this cards usefulness against one of the decks worst matchups.Standard Bearer: doesn't see much play anymore in this deck for some reason. It works incredibly well against G/R Stompy and the mirror and can mess up mono blue when they go to snap their cloud of faeries. Lifelink: this card is almost strictly for burn decks which are popular right now. all you need is lifelink or armadillo cloak to win any match against them. The rest of the sideboard is pretty standard. I am still looking for a good SB card to respond to an early electrikery, as that is really the only sweeper that merits concern for this deck.
