[Inspired by NorthernWarlord's Budget Series]Are you new to Magic: The Gathering? Is your collection of cards lacking? Do you need a new deck for your game night with your friends? Well look no further than here!Nylea's Devoted will put you in the shoes of Mono Green Devotion! Show your love for Green with Devotion creatures like Karametra's Acolyte, Reverent Hunter, and even Nylea, God of the Hunt, herself! If you're in need of help, Hunter's Ambush or Bramblecrush can help you out of a tight spot! The Budget / Starter series is to help people to who are either new to the Magic: The Gathering, or simply those who can not afford to spend a lot of money on booster packs or individual cards. It can be of help to beginners or experts alike.
Devotion!Show your love for Green by devoting your victory to it! The Devotion ability was introduced in the Theros Block (As were many others). The ability varies from card to card, however, all Devotion cards generally fall under saying, _____________ equal to your devotion to a mana color. Devotion is based upon the number of that color's mana symbols on each permanent you control; however, this does not include lands. In this deck, your goal is to try and pump out your Devotion-ees (The creatures who will help get you more devotion), so that when your Devotion creatures enter the field, you'll get big bonuses. You'll want to start with the good ol' Elvish Mystic, as he helps you get out mana faster. Follow up with some Kalonian Tuskers or a Paragon of Eternal Wilds. When you've got a lot green Devotion ready, play Karametrea's Acolyte to get a lot of mana, Nylea's Disciple to get a lot of life, or Reverent Hunter to get out a big creature. If possible, play Nylea herself before your main attack, so that your creatures can get that Trample bonus. If you're having trouble with attackers, throw in a Fog or Hunter's Ambush to slow your opponent's attacks down!Key Cards to this deck:Karametra's Acolyte / Nyxthos, Shrine to Nyx: Very, very important. Will allow you to play your spells faster with huge mana boosts.Bramblecrush: This card can either remove an annoying threat, or slow down your opponent with land destruction!Nylea, God of the Hunt: The Green Devotion master herself. This card not only gives your creatures Trample, but can also power up your creatures. Don't worry about that cost, as you should have plenty of mana thanks to your mana boosters.Reverent Hunter: An early game creature that's best played later, as the most Devotion you have when he enters, the bigger he'll get.Fog / Hunter's Ambush: Either can help you out of a tight spot; however if you're playing against a Green deck, it's best to use Fog rather than Hunter's Ambush.

Love it! I love how you made it into a budget deck. I would however suggest another bomb to go with it all, eventually you'll have loads of mana, but nothing to do with it.If you have some time, mind taking a look at my budget decks, although I've only got one at the moment.http://www.mtgvault.com/randomaccount/decks/budget-uw-heroic/Thanks!

Looking awesome! Too bad that there aren't any good green removal left in standard like Prey Upon.
Yeah, unfortunately. But hey, you gotta use what you're given.
Nice standard budget deck. I wonder how my standard budget (if you don't include thassa) mono blue would hold up against this...
