Sacrifice and life pay mostly. It was more so a deck I made in a "rush," so to speak. I was mostly excited for the new 2015 cards, so I just kind of threw a deck together.

By the way, if you don't mind me asking, how did Northern advertise?

Wow. Because of all the feedback I've received on this deck, it's put my deck up on the Hot tab! I want to thank you all for the support, especially Northern. I'd never get anywhere if not for him and his advertising!

I can see where you're coming from on the abilities of the deck. But, thank you for your feedback. In my newest Starter deck, Ephara's Chosen, I try to only focus on the Heroic ability. I don't go crazy with cards like Sage of Hours, I try to stick towards the simple +1/+1 counter heroes, with the exception of Battlefield Thaumaturge. I'll try to consider the fact that not all new players will understand every single ability in my future decks.

Of all the Monstrous creatures, Fleetfeather Cockatrice would have to be my favorite. Although, it is tied with Fleecemane Lion.

There is a problem with that. It is said that DoTP 2015 will have a card limit on each card, depending upon the rarity of the card. 4 - Common. 3 - Uncommon. 2 - Rare. 1 - Mythic.

And even if this is not true when the game is fully released, until I know otherwise, I'm going to be making these decks as if that rule applied.

I can have up to 4 of each if I wanted to do. And after I thought about it, I decided to go with 3 of each of the gates, and the other 15 land be Basic Land.

What do you think of -2 to each of the Basic Lands, then replace them with 2 guild gates of the guilds that have the colors for this deck? (Simic, Gruul, and Izzet.)
