Hello everybody, and thanks for taking a look at my very first MTG modern deck! Hope you all enjoy it, and I do welcome ideas, and criticism of all types. The idea behind this deck is to get either a Torpor Orb or Hushwing Gryff out on the playing field as fast as you can. So when you have the four appropriate mana to summon either Eater of Days or Dust Elemental out on the field. As you can see both Dust Elemental and Eater of days are pretty cheap creature cards with heavy attacks and secondary abilities that take them over the edge. But they have abilities that activate once they come into play that bites the owners hand. Both Torpor Orb and Hushwing Gryff negate all abilities that activate once something comes into play. Both Kami of Flase Hope and Judge's Familiar are there to get out 1 cmc creatures out, that have the ability to prolong the match until you can get a fatty or two out.Azorius Charm, Cryptic Command, and Ojutai's Command are all designed to draw cards faster to get your creatures out, with both the Command cards having the option to use a second ability at the same time. As well as Serum Visions is used to draw cards faster, and scry the top two. This is a typical big monster aggro deck with a bit of CC, it seems to do pretty well in testing. But just built it and have not had a chance to try it out. Let me know what you think!
