Deck Description

Uses a mix of fast creatures backed by direct damage to win. Can't afford a playset of Figures, or they would be maindecked.

I plan on using this in FNM with people who play with relatively competitive standard decks.

Mark of asylum can mess this up pretty bad, but i can't find an easy way to deal with it. I also don't know if i should keep Spark Elementals over Hell-Spark Elementals. My final thought is whether i should use Pyroclasms, Firespouts, or Volcanic Fallouts., all of them have their advantages and disadvantages so its a rather difficult choice.

I'm converting a deck that I used casually and could be played in an extended format, so if i've missed any obvious things, forgive me. Any help is great, but buying lashers and banefires is going to set me back a bit. Sideboard in this deck looks to deal with countermagic and creature based decks that are too difficult to kill with simpler damage spells.

Deck discussion for Standard Red (Tournament Quality)

I personally think you're better off running Hellspark over regular Spark.

I'd take volcanic fallout over pyroclasm, except that your three-drop slot feels a bit inflated. Speaking of which, I'd consider trading two Ashenoor Gougers for two more Hell's Thunder. The flight makes it more likely that you'll get in for damage (and more on the unearth, if you get there), where Gouger can wind up chumped into uselessness (especially against, say, elspeth).

Made some changes, and @ Cryptic i wouldn't be taking this to PT events or anything, so i can more than likely sneak by without figures, despite the competitive nature of where i play i don't think its to the point where i would have to use figures.
