So, people in my playgroup hate oloro, for the most part he's an enchantment they can't interact with that gains you a bunch of life. Then you play esper good-stuff and it's like you don't even have a commander. I don't like playing like that, but I do like drawing cards, and he does let you draw a lot of cards. So I thought to myself, what would make me have lot's of little life gain triggers? The answer: soul sisters.
Okay so you probably won't have a sister in hand to start the game, but that's what backups are there for. Pristine talisman is an all-star, ramp early and a card a turn later on. Daxos is good early board presence and a hard to block threat later on, and you never know, might get a cheeky eldrazi off the top ;). And finally the new khans life gain lands, fixing and draw a card later? yes please. Next there's a nice reanimation package with dudes ranging from useful to downright scary, ( I'm looking at you Lord of the Void). We have some boardwipes, cos yah know, we are in esper. Verdict and wake are fairly standard choices, but we've also got aetherize for those pesky keywords, and kagemaro who should be fairly beefy in his own right (also a bit dirty with Gift of immortality). And then back to the focus of the deck, we have 3 sisters, we got blood artist, we got extort guys and the ever terrifying vizkopa guildmage, and we even have an infinite combo in there, for the lols. You need carnival of souls, at least one sister, a sac outlet, archaeomancer, enough dudes to make back the mana from carnival and finally one of the 2 mass reanimate spells in the deck.Go nuts, have fun, draw cards, such is magic ;)
