Modern Luminarch Ascension/proc martyr switch. Edit, Totally revamped the deck, I am going for a complete switcheroo for game 2-changing from control, to a control aggro mix. I am hoping the switch will negate the opponents s/b switches. Seems to work very well in testing.

sideboard some big white creatures like sunblast angel in case your opponent sideboards in enchantment removal against luminarch ascension. I know mine excavation can help, but you should have another powerful option. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=373618 http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=378319

I would definitly add another winning card than the luminarch, just in case you get the enchantment removed. Just choose a creature you like and add it, I am not familiar with the valid editions for modern but I would try it to have some feedback with my enchantments. Don't you think you bet to much on having four Leylines? Finally if you were considering vintage cards, Oppalesence is a must. If you happen to have time check on my deck, thanks in advance: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=378850
That is a good idea, I will look for a creature(s) to fit in. As for the leyline, I hate having four of it in my deck, but the modern meta is filled with lightning bolts and snapcasters, and it is a safe bet to assume that over 50% of all modern decks will have some sort of burn. I may remove one, and find another win condition.
nice deck but i would drop tezzeret's gambit i defeats the purpose of luminarch ascension a little maybe put in 2 doomed travelers and a voice of provinces or 2 gather the townsfolk and an increasing devotion it'll give you a few fall back creatures just in case hope it helps http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=374776
Luminarch only triggers at the beginning of my opponents end step, and tezzeret's gambit is a sorcery, thus it will not be played during my opponents turn. The life is a small price to pay for drawing two cards. Proliferate is a bonus if Luminarch is down.
