Deck discussion for The Cheapest Deck Ever

My friend said that since Progenitus has "protection from everything" it has protection from the rules, so essentially you could make up your own rules for Progenitus. I don't think he was joking, either, so... does it? (It doesn't)

Just post your reasons why it doesn't.

I'm so uneducated... what are the Comp-Rules?

Now I know what the Comp-Rules are, thanks to Aigloblam. Anyway, to answer your question, technically, yes, but then it would leave the field immediately unless you made it so that it allowed you to create your own rules for it. Therefore, you could create a loophole that completely ignores any Comp-Rule ever made unless there was one specifically designed to stop Progenitus from using its ability that way, but I suppose you make the loophole so it ignores that rule too.

I still say Gleemax wins. Even over Progenitus.

How would you be able to get Gleemax out faster than a Memnite/Ornithopter and Tinker combo? I can't think of a cheaper way to freak out your opponents. By the way, does Greeen Sun's Zenith work for Progenitus?

Heartless Summoning + Havengul Lich + Priest of Urabrask... It might. GSZ does not target so I don't see why it wouldn't. Anyone else with thoughts?

Should work for it just fine.

You are right about Gleemax....The fastest way to put it out would be 2 mana producing myr and 2 myr galvanizers, That goes Infinite. But the problem is Gleemax isnt legal Anywhere outside a kitchen table somewhere :)

CompRules = Comprehensive Rules of Magic. They are the ultimate authority on everything that can go on in a MTG Game. HUGE list, containing every rule there is and ever has been.

...wow...i wonder how many rules there are...
Anyway, the 2 mana-producing myr I see is Palladium Myr, if I'm not mistaken.
It would be strange if they allowed the Un-sets to be used.

It needs to be two separate 1 mana producing Myr, like an Iron Myr + Sliver Myr.
Well it doesnt NEED to be, Palladium Myr would work for it too.

Well, yeah, but it's just easier to have Palladium Myr out because it's only one card and costs 3 (9 total if you add the galvanizers), whereas a combination would cost 4 (10 total). BUT, the combo would probably be out faster.
