I wanted to make an Elspeth and Daxos reunited deck using only cards from the Theros Beyond Death set. My goal was to incorporate each Elspeth and Daxos card in the set in a white/black deck. The themes so far are escaping from the graveyard and maintaining control of the board. It feels a little light on creatures, and is still very much a work in progress. This is my first real Magic deck, I'd been waiting until Elspeth's story continued to finally get some cards, as she is my favorite mtg character so far. I will happily accept all criticism/advice/recommendations/etc. so I can make this deck better for playing with. I am trying to keep at least one copy of each Elspeth/Daxos related card from the set in the deck and avoid Heliod cards (except maybe Heliod's punishment). I am considering adding some human soldier token spawning creatures and cutting down the number of non creature cards.
From the few games I have played with this deck, it performs best when I have a good amount of white devotion for Daxos and can bring out multiple monsters to attack all at once, while having some black devotion for Erebos' Intervention. I run into issues with not having enough firepower early game, and end up with an empty field when I can't draw enough creatures. Despite being able to knock out enemies, this deck struggles to keep its own cards safe from opponent effects.
