A retro-style mardu control deck. Inspired by KTK nostalgia and revamped to be a slower modern deck.
Survive the early game, survive the mid game, dominate the late game. Use the abundance of removal to say DIE DIE DIE to everything your opponent plays until you can cast one of your powerful bombs and win the game. Against control you want to replace your 2 wrath of god with 2 outpost siege, and replace your lightning helix with 3 thoughtseize and 1 crackling doom or 1 banishing light. Against aggro replace 1 empty the pits and 1 Elspeth for 2 Linvala, and replace mind rot for 2 anger of the gods, 1 magma jet, and 1 crackling doom. Against combo replace 4 lightning helix for 3 thoughtseize and 1 stain the mind. Replace 2 wrath of god with 2 rakdos charm, and replace 1 anger of the gods with 1 banishing light. Replace 1 dreadbore with 1 crackling doom. Against midrange replace 2 magma jet with 1 crackling doom and 1 banishing light. Otherwise, sideboard with discretion. Have fun!

blightning is better than mind rot

Sure, feel free to include them
I understand the KTK era standard nostalgia, but some blightnings, lingering souls and terminates could make this deck better. But if you want that old standard feel, then go ahead.
I've tried using terminates before, but eventually replaced them. What could I replace to make room for terminates in the deck?
Personally not a fan of the Magma Jets.
