So why did you leave goyf's off the ideas list?

While tarmogoyf is an extremely powerful and often very potent, it has an outrageous cost, and because I live in Canada, where we use Canadian money, the goddam thing costs around $210 a piece. Also, goyf is a very commonly used card, and I felt using it would dilute the actually very broad spectrum of Jund builds that can be good together. I thought the death dealer was the appropriate replacement for the goyf, because they do practically the same thing. They're both 2 drops that are resistant to removal, and can get huge quickly and easily. Aside from maybe lightning bolt, i'm going to try to steer this series away from modern staples to further the Modern Ideas that can be made.
What do you think of seismic loam? Life from the loam, seismic assault, ravens crime
I think that the first to is that they would be pretty sweet in a more graveyard/reanimator style deck. If you want to do that in the Jund colours, then be my guest. My opinion on raven's crime is worse because of the choice of discard.
True true. Another one I think you left out is hunt master of the fells. He is great, and if he survives a turn he can take a game over. Pretty backbreaking. Not sure if you want sb options too but crumble to dust is a new one that really helps I. The tron match
Also really good in the mirror too, yeah, and I kinda wanna add him to the sideboard. I did, however, choose Olivia as the 4 drop because I think she's the more potent threat. She can kill other small creatures with her first ability and pump herself, and her second ability can completely dominate if you have enough mana, the only problem is that she doesn't pass the bolt test the turn she's played. Sideboard options would be great. I'm constantly looking for sideboard options, and much too lazy to find them myself.
