Ok, serious talk, peoples.Even though commander is a very interesting and unique format, some commanders have gotten a disgusting amount of attention compared to other commanders that are still good, maybe 2nd or 3rd tier, but are generally not as good. Some of them are as good, if not better than the highly popular commanders. Here are some examples: Skullbriar, the walking graveRuhan of the fomoriRuric thar, the unbowedWort, the raid motherGrimgrin, Corpse-bornRakdos, lord of riotsDragonlord DromokaBrion StoutarmSedris, the Murder KingSek Kuar, deathkeeperTasigur, the golden FangThese are all insanely underrated commanders that I think sincerely deserve more play than they are getting.A good deck of at least one of these generals within the $100 range (like the skull briar one above), would give new players to the format an affordable and unexpected deck, or just giving old and experienced players opportunities to try something new. I think this will really help this site.
Cast Skullbriar quickly in the game, and apply evasion, protection and buffs to your persisting threat of commander damage.

I run Grimgrin and Ruric Thar. Skullbriar is pretty darn good. I might just swap him with Pharika for my deathtouch deck...

Good that you run underrated commanders! I actually made a ruric thar EDH deck on mtgvault just like this! The link ishttp://www.mtgvault.com/ladon229/decks/edh-its-all-ogre-now-3/Also, before you just switch out Skullbriar for Pharika, remember that you will need a completely different deck. Pharika is more of a combo general. You will also need some heavy mana ramp and self mill to make her effective. I'd suggest running as many creatures in the deck as well so that you will hit them in your self mill. Make these creatures low value, as you don't want to hesitate exiling them from the graves. Delve spells will also utilize this ability - making Pharika a creature, then swinging in with become immense is the dream. You could also make a snake tribal deck with as many green/black snakes as you can. Even though Pharika, herself is not a snake, she freakin' makes tons of them.I dunno, just a few thoughts!
Momentous Fall and Life's Legacy are stupidly good in Skullbriar. Playing against my friend's Skullbriar deck just yesterday he drew like ten cards with them two different times, recast Skullbriar and attacked immedietly and dropped a Berserk he drew. Stupidly good. Greater Good is also amazing in the deck, but it's nearly ten bucks, where as Life's Legacy and Momentous Fall are like a quarter.Rogue's Passage is a great way to sneak him through for lethal if he doesn't have trample.
