Deck Description

The idea behind the deck is to lay down little creatures and gain life as much as possible.

This is a combo deck that blossoms late game. The interaction of Sanguine Bond and Exquisit Blood is well known, and I have brought it to fruition. (I hope)

I have multiple small removal spells for early game. I gain a lot of life easily. Have chump blockers, and with "Blind Obedience" it's easy for me to drain.

Control match ups that are heavy in counter spells seem to be hard match ups.

I'm looking to improve this deck so any and all comments welcome.

Deck discussion for The Bond of Blood

I don't know any off hand but I'd try to find some cards to mana ramp quickly so you can get those exepensive enchantments out before you get overwhelmed.

I have been looking into this problem. I usually don't have a problem with fast decks. My issues come from (so far) are control and Tron. I have found getting to 5 lands is harder than expected, but i usually can hold out until then.

Might be a stretch, but splashing blue for things like Mana Drain, Cancel, and other counter cards to protect your spells. Or some way to get protection from blue.

That is an option, but I think the splash of blue may hurt it more than help it. I think I need to add another land, but am having a difficult time figuring out what to take out of the deck.
