This deck takes major advantage of the new elves that have come out of the recent sets, and creates a long list of combinations to go with their new abilities. I've been a fan of the Elves for a while, but they were just lacking some important abilities. The new releases have allowed me to create this deck for all to see, and it even fits in Standard play.
The goal of this deck is to get the Obelisk of Urd out on the field as quickly as possible. At that point, all Elves gain +2/+2 and that allows you to blow most opponents out of the water fairly quickly. Getting Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen on the field and using Foul-Tongue Shriek when you attack will allow for constant life gains that will keep you supplemented as you work on whittling down your opponent's life.
