As long as you have 3 mana (one black, one blue and one red) on the first draw, you are all set and will have lots of creatures out on the field quickly, not too mention lots of spells to piss your opponents off. You can mill them, burn them or destroy their creatures depending on what you get. There is a lot of flying in this deck, as well as great powerups such as balduvian rage and when you having the mana flowing (and you will) all the X costs on cards will make you unstoppable.
