Deck Description

Taking my current Grixis list and leaving 3 Abyssals, 3 Consuming Vapors and 1 Damnation as the most expensive cards (cc4), the rest of the cards being cc1-3, mosly 2 though and going a bit for "The Gate" direction with more hand disruption, this is what you`d get!

*Jitte`s here for more control, as if that needed explanation.

*Sword of Feast and Famine is, imo, the best of the bunch, for it`s more hand disruption, as if this wasn`t enough, plus it untaps all my lands, for which i could cast some nasty Consuming Vapors or such to piss my opponent off a bit more, and i would be able to use those lands, thanks to 3x Bobs and 2x Jaces, since my card draw would be absolutely great, so my hand would almost never be empty.

*Abyssal Persecutor, a 6/6 Flying and Trample.. for 4? Yes please, thanks to Consuming Vapors, Cabal Therapy and Gatekeeper of Malakir(Damnation obviously too), the "You can`t win the game" ability won`t matter to me so much, for i`d always have ways to deal with him, even Terminate is nice.

*Gatekeeper of Malakir is quite self explanatory.

*Sedraxis Specter is an awesome card, just like all the specters, he`s hand disruption and has Flying, but what makes him so much better, is that he has Unearth.

*Bob, assures more card draw, in a way. He does make me lose life constantly, but that`s not too much of a problem, for we`ll be getting that life back with Consuming Vapors and in the end, our cards arent that expensive to cast, which brings me to the next point:

*22 Lands, There should almost never be problems with mana floods or mana shortages. I`ve been running these lands for as long as i`ve had my Grixis deck and almost never have i been short on anything.

*Jace Beleren - more card draw, plus possible 1 card mill, if my opponent has nothing in his hand and i have a Specter and Jace in play.

*Lightning Bolt, oh those small little critters are getting on m nerves, is there anything i can do?..*draws* Oh LB, nice. As you figured it`s for creature removal mostly, but also works as a quick finisher if your opponent is short on life.

*Terminate - spot removal.

*Cabal Therapy, if you know what you`re up against, this the gamebreaker. plus, thanks to it`s Flashback cost, it can get rid of Abyssal for me, as i already stated.

*Duress, similar to Cabal Therapy, just without the Flashback.

*Spell Pierce, thanks to all the removal we have here, creatures aren`t out biggest problem, it`s those sorceries, instants and artifacts that we are most afraid of - what do we do to them - get rid of them before they even spread their roots on the battlefield.

*Damnation is a last resort kind of removal, if you`re overwhelmed by your opponents creature army, which you shouldn`t be, but if for whatever reason, Damnation can save you your game.

*Consuming Vapors, you have to compensate for the life you`ve lost thanks to Bob, plus remove some nasty creature your opponent controls, heck, even get rid of Abyssal, if needed.
