Deck discussion for Thopter Copter

Ok, I see how your deck is working. I like (INFIN) stuff and this one is now on my list. I would however have to make it faster. Once you get that early control Via Time Sieve your opponent is f*cked, yet your deck could still be beaten, I like it. (B+) in my book.
P.S. (INFIN) mana would be nasty in this deck lol.

I added the Ironworks for infinite mana loop

now I deleted it...once you get Time Sieve out, it's over if you do it right

Cool combo. I would still defiantly use ironworks. And maybe myr servitor. Over all nice build, maybe try and speed it up if you cant. Sac lands from invasion might help. It might give you like a turn three win.

Oh that's cute. Some self milling mechanic might really speed this up, some way to get Sword Of The Meek into GY from Library.

Just a thought. Not really sure how to do it, I just think it would be super potent.

Phyrexian Walker is similar to Ornithopter for you too. Not sure if there's a specific legality you want to fit into though.

instead of using reliquary tower, use Spellbook (0 mana artifact). Also I would up the Doom Blade to 3x some how, add some diabolic tutor and you will have an awesome deck. The key is surviving until you have your draw. Awesome combos!

thanks for the comment...no diabolic tutor though because it costs too much mana and I have muddle the mixture to pull out any card I need for my combo

I liked reliquary tower because it is harder to get rid of since it is a land...I guess this depends on the meta-game of your area, but more people own items like disenchant and naturalize than cards like wasteland or sinkhole.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but in order to have infine turns you must be able to pay the thopter foundry's ability at least 5 times a turn...and you kill them quickly with disciples or slowly with extra thopters (depending on what you draw)? If this is the case you need to find a way to accelerate your mana at the beginning of the game so you get the lock on turn 3 instead of turn 5 (assuming you lay a land each turn). I would add chrome mox for mana acceleration. Take out mana leak and put arcane denial, take out muddle the mixture and put counterspell ( i see why it works for you...just want to be sure when you get your combo nothing can stop it), take out thirst for knowledge and put impulse, smother is good, but i would run diabolic edict instead. Good idea...I hope you can make it more aggressive

I disagree with replacing my spells, because they each serve a specific purpose in this case

however, Chrome Mox was a great idea--that should really help to boost the mana, and allow the combo to come off more quickly

love it. the only problem is that it can fall to a naturalize or some other destroy artifact ability

ah, that's true...hopefully I could counter that spell, or discard it with duress, or something

A very good deck.
If you need any form of acceleration try using Fabricate to get the artifacts out fast.

A solution to the mana problem would be this combo: Vedalken Engineer + Intruder Alarm.

Hey mate, dumb question really but any reason your not running tezzeret? too late game? cause turn 5 (or less!) fetch the last artifact you need for the combo is pretty mint. Great for those broken artifact lands too :D

Damn people sure do love to comment on your decks. Wish I had a following like this, lol. But yeah, too bad there isn't any green, because Doubling Season would make the Thopter combo insane. Excellent work though man, 9.9 Stars!
