Deck Description

IRL

Create a massive army to gain LOADS of life--it works well. Plus, my life usually gets to be several hundred (occasionally nearing 1000) with well wisher and Nissa Revane. It helps that the elves are cheap for early defense, too.

yeah 60 cards. and i would also try to minimize the amount of non-creature spells in an elf deck. get some joraga warcaller and elvish archdruids, rhys is over rated.

Hm. Have you tried Oran-Rief, the Vastwood instead of Sapseep Forest? Also, if you are going to have Elves, you really shouldn't need Decree or Folk Medicine, as those spells, while helpful, really doesn't do much. By the time you have 9 Mana, or 6 mana, you should be dominating already, so.... and, Folk Medicine, while good, really is unnecessary, as you have a Nissa Revane, and you won't be able to use flashback for the Medicine, too.

thanks...I took out those spells, cause I totally see your point. Folk Medicine was more useful when I had plains (although Elvish Harbinger would do the trick now), and didn't have Nissa Revane

Since you are running Bramblewood Paragon, you should fit in more 'warriors' especially the lovely Wren's Run Vanquisher. At the cost of 1G you get a 3/3 death touch and if the Paragon is on board she is a 4/4. Since Nisa and Wellwisher give life, I'd drop Essence Warden for WRV. And if you use as land Oran-Rief, the Vastwood, WRV could easily enter as a 5/5.

Yeah, this is damn nice for mana ramping. And "bobly49" You can have 4x of a Card according to the rules from Wizards of the Coast. The thing w/ Planeswalkers is that 2 of the same exact Planeswalker can't be on the field at the same time. So if I had a Sorin Markov & Kuansha pulls one out, then both of our Planeswalkers go to our respective graveyards as a state-based effect.

But back to this deck, excellent construction & very scary. I like this elf deck compared to all the other cookie-cutter ones out there. There is one thing I'd recommend that ya' might like here. Throw in a Konda' s Banner for your Rhys. You'd be ballin' man. Excellent work boss, I give ya' 9.7 Stars for this one.

I do like this deck as well. Very well constructed. Practically every card in an elf deck needs to compliment one another and you have achieved this. Take a look at my Elf deck and see what you think, maybe you might get inspired by some of my choices? :D
