Hay all this is the fifth installment in the Duel Deck series. This time the Transcendent master and his faithful followers battle his arch nemesis the powerful necromancer the scion of darkness and his army of fiends, for the last time. The next Duel Deck is going to be Karn vs Geth, i hope you enjoy and as always comments and suggestions are welcome.
For the Transcendent masters deck: your clerics may seem weak at first but they have the tools to take down even the most powerful demon. Many of your clerics exile another permanent until they leave the battle so if the scion has a powerful creature out exile it. This also helps the Transcendent master to get stronger with very little to worry about. Save Defang and weight of conscience for the beefier creatures in the scion deck. Defy death keeps your creatures around for a bit longer and helps in a pinch. Angelic skirmisher is one of the key cards in this deck, giving what you need when you need it.Scion of darkness deck: this deck utilizes speed at the cost of being cruel. Thoughtpicker witch and reassembling skeleton combo lets you pull cards from there deck and exile a card, exile there land cards and let them keep there high cost creatures. Bog witch can pump out creatures in a hurry as long as you have enough cards in hand, but having no cards in hand helps some of your creatures as well. Onyx mage gives your creatures deathtouch and makes the smallest whelp deadly. If the masters clerics has to many of your creatures exiled, play reiver demon and get them all back. Grave betrayal takes there creatures and turns them into zombies for you to control.
