Not sure if people realize this, but Misthollow Griffin + Food Chain = Infinite mana . You remove the Griffin, and then play him with 1 floating. You continuesly do this. With mana ramp, utilizing Exploration and Birds you should be either able to control the playing field for a few turns putting you at either 1-2 turns ahead of them. Usually response set ups, but you have; Worldly Tutor = Grabs the Griffin. Brainstorm = Dig for Food Chain and Griffin, along with the two win condition's in the deck. Exploration = Puts you a land drop ahead of the opponent. Turn 1, Exploration, another land, Birds of Paradise. Pass. Maga = Instant Death. That triple black is demanding, but with 11 sources of Black Mana in the deck I think it's fine. Emrakul = Usual game winner. You'll be playing him normally so you have an extra turn. Side board options are usual; Blightsteel is there just in the event that they can resist an Emrakul or a Maga. Trygon is there to beat face and get rid of stupid things like Chalice, Jitte, and Swords. Another Wasteland in case they run a deck heavy with non basics. Flashfreeze for R/G combo. Daze for another counter effect, and Cavern against other counter spell heavy decks. Overall, the deck could be improved a lot but I like it. It's INCREDIBLY consistent where I used it and I'm starting to love Griffin even more.

Regardless, a bit of constructive criticism would be nice.
It's really too bad you can't pour the mana into creatures abilities and the like.
Unfortunately, no. Really, this is supposed to be a deck that plays it's bombs and wins. Emrakul pretty much win's a game if you have a confident response base behind you and Maga instantly kills them.
Yeah, I heard people talking about this combo before the set was even released. I was kind of interested since I already owned a Food Chain, but I didn't follow through with it. I don't think there's anything I can suggest to make this deck better (except adding a Black Lotus :P).
Blast Lotus can make just about any deck better. Unfortunately it's banned
a early game defense card might help i like the deck though
