I like that you included Wirewood Symbiote, and Staff of Domination. Also your down til 59 cards.
Why not just have two Emrakuls? If you get infinit mana, and throw a genesis wave with the rest of the cards in your library, both will be cast, but both will also die and be shuffled. This is not a bad thing since you have infinit mana, and can use the Staff of Domination to draw a new card. If you only have two cards, what are you gonna draw? Emrakul :D Free turn! Pass to your next turn and draw another emrakul. Throw that down also, and get another free turn and be ready to draw Emrakul again next turn or now with Staff of Domination. Infinit turns :D

How well does this work, and is 16 destruction cards really necessary?

I like the aphotic wisps, but as I see it it's either creature destruction or some kind of shadow/fear/land-walk. Only got room for one of those. I considered removing the mutagenic growth and rancors in favor of might of old krosa or wild might. With a 1/1 i only need him to get +4/+4 twice or one time with a berserk to win. The +2 power on my biggest creature only adds up to 4, and then i still need to attack 3 times. If speed is all I'm going for. However, the rancor might be rly awesome if the game drags on.

I'm really busy at the moment, with my exam this thursday. The only cards I've searched for were the ones with flame, fire, lava, magma and lightning in the titel :D
I will give this a more indeepth look next tuesday. Thx for the input. Two of my three decks are allready mono colored, so you can borrow one of those!

Nice to see you finally do a creature based deck, and not that combo-based boring bullsh*t :)

Either i pull reverberate out, and put in lava spike instead, or i get some x-dmg into this.

Ok, so i really like the idea. I once wanted to make a deck equal to this one.
Just like my discard deck i think this will have a lot of problems with fast combinations and creatures.

Hey!

Thanks for the input. I added 4 Putrid Imps and 2 Avatar of Discord. If you want some help with your deck I think you have too many win-more cards. I mean; if you get a Buried Alive of and ressurect those three, you should be on your way to win the game. You won't need 12 cards who costs 5+ mana.

Kind regards.

I would swap out reanimate with something that dosn't kill you. Maybe throw in Teneb, the Harvester. It would be sweet to get an engine going with drawing creatures and getting them into play cheap. Maybe some way of sacrificing them if they have a beneficial effect, when they die(sundering titan etc.).
This might not be the point of the deck in its current state, but it could work :P

Pure black: Dross harvester, entomb, Teneb the Harvester, Animate Dead, buried alive, soldevi adnate og så nogle drain life. Hurtigt op med nogle monstre, man så ofre og smider en drain life, eller bare pounder ham ned med dem :)

Allright, so i had a fair look at this, and considering that i played an earlier form of it my input might be worth considering. The Dark Depths+hexmage is a strong combo, but why not include a Lotus Petal, so you can do it in the first turn? You play the land and uses the lotus for a dark ritual -> hexmage. A 20/20 flying indestructible is never a bad creature to have, but having it before he gets mana for a Dark Banishing, Diabolic edict etc. makes it a second turn win. That is of course only if it's in your starting hand.

I like that you kept the land-d intact. It worked very well. It might work better if you had Mana Leech/ Mole Worms. You might wanna add one to the sideboard, so Living Wish can fetch it.

BTW. Check out equinox :D

Thanks for the input!

I'm not sure Thousand-Year Elixir would be a suitable substitute. The bonus added with Puppet Strings is that i can hold his creatures tapped if he gets some on the board. As i see it this decks biggest weakness is if I'm up against creatures bigger then a 3/3, since that is the largest creature i have and i only have two of them. If i time a Funeral charm with a suicide of a Nezumi Shortfang i can kill something with four toughness.

I could remove some Isochron Scepters in order to put in some Mimic Vats. That way i could also throw Ravenous Rats as an instant an infinit amount of times.

The Demonic Tutor could perhaps be removed, but I feel like it's the kinda card that just increases your chance of your combos comming true. I thought that i might use it for getting my mana vault or sol ring for a bigger mind twist earlier. Also i could help med locate an Isochron if i had a Funeral Charm etc.

I removed the land. Guess you are right that i don't need 22 lands :)

I considered removing The Rack since, if he can't draw any cards it dosn't matter if i kill him in 5 turns og 60. If all goes well i shouldn't need the three damage pr. turn. It would be okay just to pund him down with rats.

If I was to implement the Raven's Crime and Black Mail I guess I would have to remove some mind twist's or hymn's since it is those cars i rely on to windel down his starting hand.
