A UWR Flashy Control deck for Standard play. This and the Grixis control deck that I built earlier, http://www.mtgvault.com/konjester/decks/grixis-control/are the first 2 full-blown control decks that I've built thus far.Comments and suggestions are appreciated!

Personally I would run either 3 Dissipate OR 3 Render Silent rather than both, there is no need for 7 counterspells, and instead run more removal with 3 Supreme Verdict, this way you'll also have a flat 60 card deck, rather than 61.

Not a big fan of Melek, I think AEtherling as a finisher creature would fit better than copying your counter spells and supreme verdicts (in addition only a 1/3 chance of revealing a card that even works with him, then actually needing it...)Also Council of the Absolute fits really nice into a control deck with flicker and Sphinx's Revelation.
I agree with both, I just like Melek. I haven't seen Aetherling until now, but, he seems like a really powerful bomb if I get him out. So, he's replacing Melek, and council will be joining my sideboard. Thank you!
