Deck Description

A modern Bant build. I enjoyed using the exalted mechanic quite a bit in standard when M13 first came out, however, it just didn't do what I wanted it to. Here, I have a Bant exalted deck for modern and I really want this to succeed.... I just haven't been able to playtest it yet... Modern is a format that I'm not very familiar with, but, I would love to get into it.
If you can help in any way, anything from modern tips to deck-building tips for the format, that would be amazing!

Comments and suggestions are appreciated!

Deck discussion for Modern Bant Exalted (help?)

Exalted is an awesome mechanic and all you need is for one creature to get through. Invisible Stalker is the first creature that comes to mind, but there are other ways to get damage through, even if blocked, for this, Rancor comes to mind. This actually gives me an idea... an idea I must convey to my groups's blue players (I personally dislike playing blue)...

Anyways, I can't really think of anything to help you other than telling tou to playtest to see what needs tweeking.

Ive been debating on adding in a couple rancor, not sure where id put it though... Stalker would be alright, I just didn't want a plain body(non-exalted) But, the hexproof and unblockable might get him in place of my Sureblades.... Maybe. But, he's easily killed by whipflare and such. . . .

Curious, what is the idea you'll be conveying?

Well, there's a Standard legal Bant deck idea that uses the stalker, Ethereal Armor and Roncor (among other creatures and cheep enchantments). My idea is to suggest a Modern version that uses Finest Hour. Finest Hour is an enchantment, so it'll add another +1/+1 to Ethereal Armor's ability and it grants two attack phases. It's almost like a one-two-punch :p And if you add stuff like Ghostly Prison you get extra +1/+1 off Ethereal Armor and a good defense on yourself :)
