Deck Description

A deck with a potential turn 3 OTK.

Turn 3 kill hand: Island, Island, Mountain, Training Grounds, Pili-Pala, Grand Architect, Banefire.
Turn 1: Island, training grounds.
Turn 2: Mountain, pili-pala.
Turn 3: Land. If mountain, poke with Pala and untap for free. Grand Architect. Banefire for infinite.

Feel free to add dual lands if you want. Shock lands would be a welcome addition.

How to Play

As detailed above, using training grounds to get Pili-pala's untap ability for free allows you to grand architect to get the 2 colorless mana on top of pili-pala's mana. It's mostly moot since your generation is infinite but it might matter if you need to mana leak or something.
Since you can't actually cast a spell with x = infinity in Magic, remember to hit them for a googol plex damage. Most infinite combos will resolve eons before that.

If you don't have the required cards in hand, use fabricate/muddle for pili-pala and drift of phantasms for grand architect. Peer through depths can grab you a Banefire, another Peer through depths or an artificer's epiphany. When you have infinite mana going, you'll be able to dig quite deep by casting these spells one after another. You'll only be looking for a banefire at that point, though.

Deck discussion for Grand Banefire

Nice combo deck. Does it have to be budget? Because I'd definitely suggest modifying your mana base with fetch and shock lands for you to get access to your colors.

Honestly, since Pili-pala supplies infinite mana of any colour, an expensive mana base doesn't add much to the deck. I could probably just replace the mountains with more islands for a more consistent architect drop.
I did mention in the description that adding duals might be an idea, but I kept this version as a budget since I build most of my decks with tabletop in mind.

That's cool. I was just curious since I know you wanna drop your training grounds and grand architect asap so I figured you'd need to have access to your colors. At least a playset of shock lands maybe? Either way, it's cool
