Boros. I have decided that I like this play style the most. After working in many parts of magic, I am confident in my decision. Boros combines interesting creature combat with subtle secondary uses for cards (which often are sacrifice-based and therefore cost little). Legion's Initiative can save you from a board wipe. Frontline Medic might just jump in front of a pumped up spell to save Aurelia. One can never tell ... This deck will be the only deck I take with me to college. I will sell all my other magic cards to help pay my way. =(.It has been an honor to be a part of this wonderful community. Advice and tuning on the deck id much appreciated.
Umm ... this a creature based deck. Bash your opponent while attempting not to lose all your creatures. Subtle and ingenious plays will confound your opponent and grant your forces boons.Oh ... and both Balefire Liege and Firemane Avenger give me more of Lightning Helix.

You should take plateau out, and make the deck Modern.

Hmm ... but I own one! =(.Good advice though ... I'll get right on it.+1 for you.
First you can make it modern, second it will help you pay for college a bit more then other lands
clifftop retreat does not cost much also lightning helix and boros charm could be good
I already have Boros Charm. What would I take out for Helix?I am not going to use clifftop retreat, because even though it is cheaper, I prefer npt to use it where I would only have 12 basic lands.Good Ideas!
i would take out 2 boros recruits
Hmm .... I think that they are more useful (purely to trigger battalion abilities). It comes down to Boros Charm or Legion's Initiative, and I think they are both far superior in this deck, because they fill so many roles. I WILL keep Balefire and Firemane ... they give me free Lightning Helix spells to throw around.
Is Boros Elite or Legion Loyalist a better choice here?
I think legion loyalist, but I say a mix is best
I would try this deck out in tournament play. It's too bad you need some many lands in order to play this deck correctly. :-)
My advice to you is to keep this deck, but also keep all of your common cards. You get practically zero money from selling commons, so you actually lose the money you invested in gaming them.Having your commons will also allow you to build a variety of decks.Sure, sell of the expensive stuff to raise money, but keep the commons or you actually lose all the money you've spent on magic. There's an infinite life combo with boros reckoner, listed in one of my deckdesigns. You should also consider building a core design that might be able to have parts of it exchanged which will change its nature dramatically.Search for the decktag: wdm prisonClick on the prison life deck to see the reckoner comboLook around the other versions to get the overall idea on how to design a core. You will have better games in the future if you can adapt your deck in many ways.
Don't do it! College isn't worth it and you will regret selling your collection.
They might regret selling their collection, but college is worth it
College isn't worth it unless possibly going in to be a medical doctor. Even then it's questionable because there seems to be a lot of doctor knockoffs that can get by without half the training needed. The cost of a degree keeps going higher and higher while the actual benefit of it goes lower and lower. That's also not even considering the upcoming global depression heading our way. They are also starting to look restricting credit card debt across the board because of this whole lockdown bs.Best thing he can do is research the job market before he commits to wasting his time.
There will certainly be jobs within automation and robotics. The world is likely to change directions in a lot of unpredictable ways.
In unpredictability having proof that you work hard is good, but do the research to find out what's best for you
