Deck Description

Golems. Kazzong made some. Now I did. That's the story.

How to Play

Precursor Golem, Master Splicer, and Blade Splicer make your Golems fiercer and give you more of them.

Your instants target all your Golems when Precursor is out, so have fun!

Deck discussion for Budget: Grumpy Golems

Dread Statuary.

Cleave over the Assault Strobe, because it is an instant?

Blessing with the Precursor Golem, very nice! Screw you Doom Blade!
Cloudshift and Splicer...lol, yep, i see that! :)

And here I thought that double cleave was inferior to assault strobe ... :)

I love the statuary idea!

They are both highly rated. Strobe is cheaper..but slower. Cleave is more expensive (mana cost)...but faster.

The Dread Statuary shows great promise with Righteousness. Make your opponent pay for attacking...and be scared to attack again. Same concept with your white protection spells. Make Statuary a creature, pop a protection spell on him, and chump block away!

It makes them be scared, and afraid to attack with every creature they have...in fear you may make Statuary a creature.

Good luck!!

Dread Statuary is even more fearsome when combined with master splicer and blade splicer. Oh hello 5/3 first strike golem! And if I happen to have a righteousness in hand ...

Statuary is a valuable pressure-builder to screw with your opponent's mind. And since this deck runs so little colored mana ... he's even good as a land!

Yeah... I have a four color splicer deck with xenograft that I like to play with, but yours is WAY more solid than mine.

thanks. I appreciate that. I try to build unique things, and comment on other decks that I think are also unique. :) Jessie and Hokey, I think that you guys both build interesting and fun looking decks.

Frogs versus Golems.
Though i do think your deck looks way more solid, it could still be fun.

Let's do this thing. :)

So let's get this straight ... Adaptive automaton will choose to be a frog, so when you cast polymorph's jest, I can probably have more powerful frogs, and more of them (with flamewright). Death by former 0/1 defender golems turned into 1/2 frogs. Lol.

Yeah, this deck would totally win.
I agree.

Unless you managed to out frog me. One bounce spell shot at precursor ...

Which I would be targeting Precursor, any chance I got. That would be a given. I was hoping my Spongebob deck would kick the frog deck off the Hot List...but no go. No one likes it. lol

Wait ... you need adaptive automaton in your frog deck. For CMC 3, he can give all your frogs a boost, or boost your opponent's creatures once you steal them.

I am genuinely sad that he is too expensive for this deck. ):
