Deck Description

I have made several Dimir decks, but they were all limited in some way. I created this deck free from any special rules. It based around nothing in particular. Enjoy!

FYI, Ashiok the Nightmare Weaver is not the Dimir Planeswalker. Thank you s0rinmark0v!

How to Play

I can't go spreading House Dimir secrets all over the place!

Deck discussion for Budget: Ashiok's Avengers

Maybe something like sinister possession in case you get overwhelmed by agro?

Thanks G or the suggestion!

I replaced force spike with it, so now this is legal in modern.

DON'T CALL SOMETHING DIMIR IF IT'S B/U I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT!!!
Rant aside, this looks like a good deck. Maybe something like Wight of Precident Six would be at home here
P.S. It is only a guild card IF it is from Ravnica and marked by the guild logos.

I was refering more to you calling Ashiok the Dimir planeswalker...
You can still call it a Dimir deck because half the deck is Dimir cards

The duel decks?

I meant "real" decks. The Duel decks are more or less a gymic for casual play, you buy it with one of your mates and each take a deck to occasionally verse each other with

True. I think that if you want a storyline in your game, you should go play warhammer or something.

Reanimation Protocol: The model stays in play instead of being removed as a casualty on a roll of 5+
Resurrection Orb: Reanimation Protocol rolls now require a roll of 4+
Ever-Living: Can activate Reanimation Protocol even if the model is not part of a squad

Long story short: You kill me, I reform and kill you

I've seen it in action ... no other army can walk up to a mech guard gun line and win (they also had a Lich Lord and cover-giving infantry out front).

The Necrons were slaugtered, but the scarab swarms behind them connected, shredding the guy's vehicles. It wasn't pretty. Oh, and his Lich Lord revived 4 times. Damn necrons.

Lich Lord? There are Lychguard and Lords, but no Lich Lord
Never heard of it. Still, they can be amazing. I've seen a Necron Vs. IG player. In the end, I think there was only 1 tank left of the 5 because of the Scarabs. The Necron player just walked and annihilated the IG

Those scarabs are so innocent ... very few players who have not gone up against them recognize tgat tgey are some of the best anti-armor in the game.

Sorry I meant Lord. He had 2 Royal Courts, so 2 solar flares ... you get the idea.

Oh my that looks nasty. Which strata of guard did you face; mech or blob?

I don't play 1000 very much .... my group plays either 600 or 2000.

Generally, I find that running mech guard (hiding squishy troops in Chimeras) and shooting at the scarab swarms first works pretty well.

0

Yeah. It does. As for the strata, I wouldn't know. It was the guy's first time playing and the list was made by someone else

Tsk, tsk ... Pleasure talking with you about Warhammer 40K. Too bad we can't fight. In all my time in 40k, I've only played against Necrons once or twice.

Oh well. I am sort of relieved. SOP for Necrons is shoot the Scarab Swarms, then kill the Lord with the Resurrection Orb before he steamrolls you.
