Oreskos.. I think. It's a cat with inspired to gain two life. It's a token deck running ajani... so yeah.

Ah, I thought about adding him but decided that it would be easier to move this deck into standard since only Bonehoard kept it from that status. Thank you for the help though.
I knew what it was trying to do but I conferred with a couple friends who have been playing longer then me. Anyway, nice deck. I just built an edh based on that using mayael the anima.
Then use a card that gives you some utility. A creature, gatecreeper vines. As for steppe lynx... I just hate fetch lands. A waste of life and time. You could also run the double tap lands which let you return a land to your hand. It still slows the deck but you can run a cycle.
Why the fetch lands? You know if you had four other lands in their place then you would draw a land you could use without paying life. It's really easy, and it slows the deck down overall. It might seem to thin the deck but that's pointless. You'd be better off using Mistveil Plains.... or....G/W/RJungle ShrineG/WGraypelt RefugeRazorverge ThicketSaltcrusted SteppeSunpetal GroveG/RCopperline GorgeFungal ReachesKazandu RefugeRootbound CragR/WClifftop RetreatThose are right out of the card search because I didn't feel like digging through all of my lands for options.
This is my first EDH.... any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I've never played with such old cards. Not lands at least. You'll have to excuse me while I go and beat a couple people's heads in. That was my mistake and one I should have checked with a couple other people before posting. Aside from that... I still don't like fetch lands that cost life...
Misty Rainforest only fetches lands with the type Island or Forest. You should look at the shock lands. As for fetching... Dawntreader Elk, Gatecreeper Vines, and half a dozen or so other creatures are better. Misty Rainforest doesn't even tap for mana.
Mana was something I was worried about, as for turn one drops... I'm not overly worried about a chance at a creature first turn. What do you think about rotating in the Sunhome Guildmages in place of the Gideons and 1 gleam of battle? You'll have to excuse my mana choice, I never use more then 20 in any given deck... I don't really know why.Perhaps adding two Silence in, in place of the last two Gleam of Battles...
This is the only standard deck I have right now: http://www.mtgvault.com/knightofdisorder/decks/burning-plains/ I don't really tend to build standard decks.Hmm, Loxdon is nice. Especially against all the B/U discard decks.
Ah, well they're only really good when you're using a lot of them or running a blue black with Infinite Reflections.
What about Relentless Rats?
Misty Rainforest is useless... you have no Islands or Forests in your deck...
In that, I still hold that Rootborn would be better then call of the Conclave. It let's you populate and then gives all of your creatures indestructible. That way you at least get some utility out of it. Trostani also gives you the bonus of gaining life equal to the toughness of each creature that enters the battlefield under your control. I'm not a very big fan of Boon Saytr because it doesn't give anything else if you bestow it.Experiment One is kinda of a toss up. It's nice because it can regenerate itself, but wouldn't Gyre Sage help more in that aspect? It still gets stronger but can turn some decent mana if you need it.Archetype of Courage is also a nice 3 drop. Give all of your creatures first strike and strips it from your opponents creatures.Would you mind taking a look at one or both of these and letting me know what you think?http://www.mtgvault.com/knightofdisorder/decks/knights-of-disorder-budget/http://www.mtgvault.com/knightofdisorder/decks/eljundnir/
Prototype Portal... it would let you replicate you artifacts. Or Soul Foundry to let you drop tokens of your creatures for their converted mana cost.
Where is the populate? You have a lot of cards which drop tokens but you can't copy them. Vitu-ghazi Guild mage or Trostani, Selesnya's Voice would make a good make a good swap for Boon Satyr. Rootborn Defenses makes a good drop as well instead of Call of the Conclave. Anyway, it looks nice.
Why only one packrat?
This deck would bite it against a tribal deck running Cavern of Souls... then again... that's not standard so it doesn't matter.Have you ever wondered how this deck would play against itself?
Sorry, misread. The other one is the spell check this computer has... well. I thought I'd offer my thoughts.
Dismiss into Dream... through rarely played turns this deck in a straight run... not a big deal. I like it... but I prefer a different set of colors. Why not use the enchantment aura Indestructibly or Gift of Immortality? They're pretty nice and Gift of Immortality returns to your hand so you can use it again. If you wouldn't mind I'm looking for some more input on this deck, http://www.mtgvault.com/knightofdisorder/decks/rule-of-liliana/Mind giving it a look?
