An excellent deck for FNM. I made this for my friend, he loves it. It struggles against pure control but is good against everything else. There are other versions of this deck. I can recommend blue/red and blue/white.Blue/red is basically a modified Colossus deck and does not play Crush of Tentacles but does get both Foundry Inspector and Herald of Kozilek. It's weaker to removal but more objectively powerful.Blue/white is a creation I've made. It's almost exactly like this deck except with Aviary Mechanic and Sigarda's Aid instead of Kingpin and Negate. Gisela is also a great sideboard card. It's weaker to aggro but very consistent at storming.
The idea is to play Aetherflux Reservoir and win by playing a large number of 0 mana artifacts (cheerios) to play a lot of spells all at once (storm).Hold on to your cheerios as long as you can unless you're about to bounce them all back. They allow you to surge Crush and build storm for the critical winning turn later.Paradoxical Outcome is often the best card in the deck if you have time to cast it, usually drawing 2- 6 cards. It also is the best card for ensuring you have a high enough storm count to win with Aetherflux because you can bounce all your cheerios back and play them again.Crush is the best way to buy time before you win. It bounces all of the opponent's stuff and forces them to remove an 8/8 for 5 mana. The deck wants to hit a land drop every turn but never flood too badly because the cards are not individually powerful. You lean on Kingpin for this card selection.
