Although not whip, I ran 4 color irl (before rotation). It's fun to play.

I hate it when it posts multiple times.

Yeah dude. It seems like it's been a little glitchier lately.

You should try this deck if you like 4- color! It's one of the most mana consistent 4- color decks I've ever ran and very competitive.

Have you thought about commune instead of the Weavers? The weavers do have nice synergy with Sidisi but I ran Sidisi whip briefly and always thought there was something better I could be doing with that three mana.

Commune would lower the curve a little, fill the yard and lets you grab the all important whip :)

Thanks for the comment. In my experience with Sidisi Whip, Commune looks a lot better and feels better to be playing because the 2/3 for 3 feels so small, but Nyx Weavers really pull their weight, especially as you move towards the long game.

The biggest deckbuilding challenge in any version of Sidisi Whip is getting the right ratio of creatures to noncreatures to lands. And the problem is that when you start with 4x Murderous Cut and 2-4x Whip of Erebos, you really have to trim the fat of any extra noncreature spell or you'll start hitting them when you mill with Sidisi (and free zombies are the real reason to play the deck, don't be distracted by the Hornet Queen endgame). I have found an effective solution that helps me pack extra noncreature removal and utility into the deck to be trimming Commune with the Gods for a playset of Nyx Weavers.

However I do like Commune for the sheer volume of cards it puts in the yard and would recommend it in any deck playing Nemesis of Mortals or any deck playing 4x Hornet Queen and 4x Whip of Erebos. This strategy is a little unidirectional for my taste, but if you want to focus completely on Whipping back Hornet Queens, than Commune fixes nearly any hand.

There are other benefits to including Nyx Weaver, such as a better game against Mantis Rider/other key flyers, better synergy with Sidisi, and the fact that the ability gets back ANYTHING you need from the grave. Whip is good, but it doesn't grab removal spells. The amount of times that I have activated the ability to grab a Murderous Cut or Bile Blight in a late game emergency is now in the upper double digits.

Fair enough, I tried Sidisi Whip briefly and was not too impressed, most likley as I was still tying to port in the old G/B dredge deck of old standard. Might have to try it out again, the deck seems to putting in decent results of late so might have to give it another bash :)
