Added my mono blue control deck I threw together from my cards the other day. Please leave a comment on ways to improve it. Sideboard is in case I play against creature-heavy (whiplash and wall of frost) or creatureless (spell pierce and turn aside). Echo mage is awesome for this deck, double-copy boomerangs or enemy spells. Capsize is awesome late game because of the buy-back. The way I play it: Anticipation! Don't spend all your mana on your own turn (always keep enough for counters) Then at the end of your opponents turn play all you need to/have mana for if you've gotten your Leyline out. As the game progresses you can get your chronologist and/or echo mages fully leveled, and you can start removing more cards and start siezing the initiative. Frost Titan + Rite of replication (only got one of each, and only got 2 chronologists) are there as game finishers, but it can be done by the other creatures once you start bouncing all their permanents. I have tried it with my friend playing some of my other decks, including landfall aggro, green ramp and black vampire/remove, and it hasn't lost yet. (except one time where I used replication + Echo Mage to spawn 15 additional titans, and failing to recognise he had a blood seeker out :S )

Only non-standard I got in there is Capsize, but it is pretty essential for this deck at the moment. If you could mention some nice alternatives for Capsize, please do :)

Boomerang, Consign to Dream, Resounding Wave and Regress are alternatives to Capsize.
You might also want to take a look at: Squelch, Dispel, Redirect, Steel Sabotage, Essence Scatter, Negate and Mirror Sheen.
"Instants and leveling can be done at any time without leylines." If you read the reminder text you'll not that levelling is not instant speen, but can only be done as a sorcery
Oh. Thought leveling was like other activated abilities. Well, without it some flexibility is lost, but should still work somewhat effective.
Lighthouse Chronologist is a tricky card. Personally, I kind of like it when my opponent plays it, it tells me that he'll be spending mana to level it which means he'll be tapping out to grind something that I can choose when it dies. All leveling cards bring that to the table. With that in mind, I'd strongly suggest trying to implement something that will protect him from being targeted. Non standard options would be Whispersilk Cloak, Lightning Greaves, and/or Alexi's Cloak. However, if Standard is something you're looking to maintain, well, I don't know. I'm not all the familiar with the standard card base (older is what I know, like Fifth Dawn down through Beta). However, you could keep him quite protected with counters, which you already have in place. The new counter in NP will be a great add here when it goes live, Mental Misstep, definitely get a set. Hope these suggestions help! I welcome any comments and criticism you can offer for any of the decks I have posted here on the site (just click on my name to see the deck list). Thanks in advance!
You have 7 cards dedicated in Unsummon and Regress an option to these would be Into The Roil for Regress it kicks for a card draw and Disperse stronger than Unsummon able to return a planeswalker. This deck calls out for a Mind Control or Volition Reins. Thanks for the comment on my deck.
