My advice for monoblue mill: drop trepanation blade, replace drowners with hedron crabs.Play 4x chancellor of the spires with 4x sanity grinding. Consider mesmeric orb and shriekhorns. I feel like archive trap should be in your maindeck too.Your sideboard is liklely to need 4x echoing truth. Surgical extraction is available to you due to phyrexian mana. Grafdigger's cage might prove helpful, depending on meta. Ensnaring bridge is a strong option, as is snapcaster but these cards are expensive.Snapback is a very fun card, Disrupting Shoal can be powerful as a 1-2 of, also consider Mindbreak Trap (counters eldrazi/uncounterable spells/graveyard creatures). There's a zombie themed mill deck that plays: http://tappedout.net/mtg-card/undead-alchemist/ which may be fun on its own and give you some fight against heavy creature matchups which blue hates. For other mass creature solutions think about http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=383178http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=366273-type effects. Maybe you can do something cool withhttp://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=383351Anyway some stuff to think about. Widek is working on a stable U/B mill list for 'raw' milling while I prefer Esper for more control and defensive options. Both have a reasonable success rate, maybe you can do something really powerful with monoblue, you'll probably need to take elements from both me and Widek. Feel free to keep in the discussion and let us know how you get on with this deck

I can understand the tradeoff with drowners vs hedrons. Drowners mill less but beats for more.I also like the "cheap critters + memory sluice" which allows you to sometimes conspire it.I'll also claim that with thoughscour and visions you can toy with a much lower mana. Try out playing your deck with 18 islands and increase it slowly from there. After all your stuff costs 2 at the most.18 lands support 12 2cc's and 30 1cc's.Sanity grind is an interresting choice, but with 1 third lands it will probably hit 1 third lands so you reveal 5-6 cards with a cost of U which mills a total of 5-6 cards. Not valid enough for 3 mana. Shriekhorn would probably mill more with an average of 5.xx (Can't remember the xx part, but it's around 55-77 depending on how many turns you have left to live)Try out your current deck but remove the mind/body and 3 islands and insert 4 surgical extractions. Surgical extraction is your best strategy against anything you know well enough. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------WIDEk ??!!I'm "WICKED" (Meaning nasty/naugthy) "DARK" (at least mentally) "MAN". WDM in short.WDM stands for wicked dark man MDW stands for mill deck wins ;D
Oops sorry! I listen to a channel on youtube called Widek Music too much.Sanity grinding works well with chancellors and archive traps, there are plenty of UU costs to experiment with. It may not be useful enough but Ive never had a chance to test it.Think about boomerang for the sideboard as well actually. You're going to need some bounce effects
So my trip to the card shop didn't go as well as planned as far as getting cards, however I did pick up an ensnaring bridge and a surgical extraction with random bits of indirect helpful info... Thus leading to the slight modification although still untested. Hopefully the other card shop will have the rest of the cards I need.
Instead of boomerang, void snare???
Void snare is ok, but it's a sorcery and doesn't hit lands.
