Deck discussion for Liquid Twin Walkers

Could be more stable against counters but as my research shows, this is completely legal and a maybe turn 3 winner. The weaknesses of this deck are not getting the artifacts on the table, counters and a Lightning Bolt to Saheeli Rai.

Maybe you could add some of these
- Disrupting Shoal
- Counterbalance
- Inquisition of Kozilek/Duress/Thoughtseize

Love the mentioned cards, but would prefer to keep it U/R.

Leyline of the Void mainboard? If you're concerned about Tentacruel (and the like), Surgical Extraction might be more reliable.

I see one fatal flaw with your plan here:
The Legendary/Planeswalkers ruling states that if there are 2 Legendary creatures of the same name, one is destroyed. If there are 2 Planeswalkers with the same type (Sorin, Jace, Chandra), one is immediately destroyed

This means that you would copy Saheeli, sacrifice the original, then exile your copy at the end of turn and cry

That's not a problem for when you combo off. Just put the one with less loyalty into the graveyard, then use the new one to make a copy of itself. Repeat until the opponent doesn't have a library.

There's a clause on her [-2]; "...except it's an artifact in addition to its other types." This means that the copy is a legal target for her own [-2]

Reckless Fireweaver would be a good side to deal damage rather than mill.

The thing is, unlike twin (that ran only 4 sort of dead cards) This runs 8 and can't keep mana up turn three to disrupt. The combo works with out a doubt but I feel like its just not consistent enough to be able to take you to enough wins to first place an FNM or top 8 a GP.

I actually have a list that uses this combo. I would recommend something more defensive and/or alternatively wincons.

Great list! Since it's a 3 card combo, have you considered splashing green for ancient stirrings? Help with consistancy I was thinking.

maybe add a grape shot or two and some mana spells

That would be good if this was storm, but i don't need to rack up a storm count in this deck.

You can't actually rack up a Storm count technically. Making a copy is not playing a spell.

Maybe throw a few pact of negation in the side board? If you run up on a pesky counters deck you will be able to get your walker out t3 and mill them

That was a recent change and the creator of this deck hasn't been on in a while (from what I can tell). In the future, please be sure to check the date the deck was posted before pointing out banned cards.

I am not saying that this deck list contains banned cards from the start, I am pointing out that the deck list has to change.
