If only we could be this lucky....
Turn 1 Emrakul:SwampPlay Dark RitualPlay (3) Dark Ritual using the mana from the first (9 mana total).Play Quicksilver Amulet (5 mana left)Quicksilver Emrakul into play (1 mana left) (as you didn't cast Emrakul, you don't get the extra turn..., but hey, it's a turn 1 Emrakul.)Then (depending on if you went 1st/2nd and have one in hand...) play corresponding 1 drop.

That moment when you get to 1000+ comments...Any thoughts on turning this into an actual deck?

Needs street wraith. Cycle for life. Helps shrink the deck without wasting time.
So. Seeing as this deck needs more cards I would say a ton of black ramp cards and search cards with some removal in their to keep you breathing till you hit the cards you need or the tutors to get them with. Four riots in hand is unfortunately almost impossible but the ability to stall and ramp with black will make the emrakul from the amulet possible
I am unfamiliar with a lot of older cards so I don't know much of what's out there. Any specific card suggestions?
Well for tutoring the cards you have several options1. Demonic tutor2. Diabolic tutor whichnis slower but I like it better for price and legality reasons3. Liliana vess. Multiple tutors and a damage abosrber all in one bit heavy on ManaSome fun ramp would be1. Crypt aghast2. Cabal coffersGood kill spells which are my specialtyMy favorites1. Go for the throat2. Doom blade3. Tragic slip because it gets those pesky indestructible4. Black suns zenith( will wipe the whole board without prejudice)
If you are really going to make this into a deck, and the comments above I agree with, though my take on it would be to make it black green because of the more mana ramping options you get with green and elvish piper would be equivalent to quicksilver.
If you want to thin the deck, 2 of my favorite cards to do so are Urza's bauble and Mishra's bauble.
Ill... :)...but why Glimmervoid & why not 4 Demonic Tutor, rather than 2 of it & 2 Diabolic?..Check this out: http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/karn-koth-sitting-on-a-plane/
In the t1 combo, the swamp could be substituted for glimmervoid and since I would have an artifact on the field I wouldn't have to sac it. I have 2/2 in there as a personal note. Yes 4 Demonic would be better, but if I actually make this deck I'd have to use Diabolic, though I could always just proxy it...
I see... ...still, Glimmervoid does nothing for you, since this is a mono-black deck...Here is one of my decks I've used when Zendikar was standard legal... ...this actually counts now as block constructed...http://www.mtgvault.com/poetmasterx/decks/spawn-conscription/
Splice blue mana and play Tinker. That is how to win with the monster Emrakul.
You need Dash of Hope's in here.
Show...
show?
This is definitely one of the least efficient ways to get Emrakul out. Hate to be a dick, but not sure why it's a top deck.
Again, add Tinker.
...and Tell
ah i get it now..... XD
Instead of consume spirit, why not run exsanguinate?
Ya, right, if only we has the luck.... of the draw. Oh well. Good concept, though not completely practical.
Cut one Demonic Tutor and add one Vampiric tutor and it becomes Vintage Legal :)
