Working on a somewhat competitive ally deck for casual and tournament play. Don't have all cards for the deck. Would like to try and keep the cost down.

Coat of Arms would be great here. Also Call to the Kindred and Descendants Path would be good ways to speed out your dudes without having to use so much mana.

You should look into tutoring cards as well. It will depend greatly on what colors you ultimately focus on but there are easy ones you can with with before that. Ring of Three Wishes is a versatile tutor card that would go well in here I think because allies are relatively cheap on mana.
If you want my honest opinion, General Tazri is not the best general for an ally EDH. In fact, I don't really think WUBRG is the smartest color option either. Yes, there are a lot of great Ally creatures in every color, but trying to run all of them limits your ability to run utility and support for the ones you DO pick. You can also very quickly end up with what my group calls "Sliver syndrome". This is where you try to make your deck do a bajillion things and instead it does none of them because it's so lacking in focus. If you ask me, choose what you want your allies to do, and then pick a general that will help you do that. I don't think a mono-colored general is the best idea, but a two or three colored one is the way to go. If you want, let me know what you're looking to do with this and I can suggest generals for that idea =]
The main combo is turntimber ranger + xenograft...with Goma, hagra and guide to assist.
