What about cards that cycle like Street wraith?
Painters servant with cards that go against a certain color. (Posted anti green)
In this case, yes.
Sadly, I don't think that will be happening anytime soon. Speculations are that the next plane visited may be shandalar. Unless we go back to a pyrexia filled plane, we likely will not be seeing any additions to the infection.
Icy blast with thaumaturge was a fun thing to do back when it was standard. Paired with meekstone could keep those pesky big dudes tapped down.
I created my account late 2011 although I would often visit the site prior to that. I haven't entirely commented everywhere although I do visit a lot of decks...
Gitaxian probe. Problem solved.
That's how you can continually re cast Griffin. Tossing in the drum seems like a wasted slot in this deck...
Format: Legacy, Deck Type: Reanimation.Deck focusses on putting creatures in the grave then bringing them back to the battlefield.
Legacy reanimation as a joke. Best hand would be entomb, exhume, dark ritual, dark ritual, swamp, servant. Turn 1 lockdown.
Yes, you would be correct. While Griffin would work beautifully with force, this is more of a budget build (something to start with while accumulating the more expensive cards.) If you Google food chain decks you'll notice that the only dig is brainstorm. You'd also notice the difference in the Mana base.
Been a while North, how's it going?
We know. Sadly, entomb is not modern legal. Any other ideas? (Thanks for the entomb reminder. Meant to get a few more.)
The name was changed. Should be able to get there from comments.
Yes, you would have to pay the additional 2 for each. Same with kolaghan. Its a simple cast vs put scenario. Eg, derevi vs kolaghan.
Random thought. Altar of the brood.
Don't forget about gitaxian probe. While you can't use it at instant speed, it could let you know if you can do the combo without any interruptions.
If you look at the date of posting, you would find that it was standard at that time.
I run a deck similar to this. Very fun to play. Would think of adding surgical extraction and/or extirpate. Brain maggot is similar to sculler if you need more creatures with hand removal. Has this been tested?
