I was actually thinking of making a deck like this. some cards that might help, safe passage, predator's gambit, midnight haunting (just in case), bone splinters, rain of blades, show of valor, angelic benediction, erase and faith's reward. hope this helps.

how many people were at yours? ther were 32 at mine. I didn't get any strong creatures out of my packs, so I went for speed control. I might put it up.

Congrats on getting 2nd. I got 10th at my local pre-release. I ran W/U and my strongest creature was a 2/3.

Actually what my friend was going to use it with was a deck like your Splintertree deck. Don't ask why. That is why I have Ground Seal in the sb.

I like the fact that it's a partial illusion deck. The sb makes it look like two decks in one. Nice.

So do I. The only draw is sb with commando and mb with Jace.

I think it would be safe to take out 2 Green suns and replace them with fog or naturalize.

I wish I could say. Most of my decks are just ideas and a few were asked of me by friends ( like "The Challenge" decks http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=359969). They are not put together.
