Thanks everyone. To start out, The plains walkers are both a huge part of this deck. U need to hit them both each game u play with this deck in order to have a chance at beating jund/boros. Another thing is the overrun is pretty much my win condition. Get my elves, and run u over. The red is pretty much only in there for bloodbraid to increase the speed of this deck. (Bolt is a necessity in any red deck.) Fallouts will be in the sideboard and im debating on whether not to add burst lightning or not.

Do you need twilight mire? Is there anything to replace it? Im building this deck on a budget, and i am replacing the birds for lotus petals, and the malestrom pulses for dark rituals. The Twilight mires are 7 a pop, and im not willing to spend $30 on it

life gain isnt needed. waste of space. Need playsets of honors and vangaurds. Run one more ajani and elspeth. Indestructebility is pointless, and the palace gaurd dosent fit. Try running Akrasan Squires, KNight Captain of Eos and Ranger of Eos. Also cut down to 21 lands. Check out my soldiers, i too won FNM last night, but there were 50+ people in the tournament.

I purposely made this deck to be heavier on the creature side.

I don't need more than 18 lands. I have cards such as Knight of the White Orchid, Aether Vial, and in some cases Path to Exile to help out with mana.

Its great to drop Aether turn one

Turn 2, tap aether to play my figure, equip it with lightning grieves and swing.

Next turn, i can tap aether to bring out a knight, drop a fourth plains, pump my figure to a 4/4, equip grieves onto the knight and swing for 6.

On turn 3 ill have aether at 3 charges, and 4 mana on the field. A perfect opportunity to play one of my many 3 costs by tapping aether, and the drop a light from within. As i equip the grieves to the 6/6 shrouded haste 3 mana creature they usually laugh and scoop.

@Nvts-I like ur idea, and shinanigans like that WORK. and yes, i too would gg scoop lol. But the fact is, im playing black red, not red green.

@Puffer- Haha, there no way in hell id run pikers lol. Im thinking about adding some Goblin deathraiders. 3-1 trample, 4-2 trample haste with the cheiftan. not bad? haha im wayyy too exited for this deck

Another thing i might add is the Voracious Dragon.

-turn one guide hits for two
-turn two instigator comes out
-turn three Chieften comes out, Instigator swings for 2/2 double strike bringing out a 3/3 siege gang commander with haste and also 3 - 2/2 goblin tokens with haste.
-turn 5 Voracious Dragon flies in eating all of my goblins for liek over 9000 heath pointz
