The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
a self mill deck that bases power and toughness out of the graveyard. Any help to improve this deck would be greatly appreciated.

Like the deck. It's a build I've been toying with for awhile, It's a lot of fun, and I've gotten my mill engine running pretty consistently. Some cards to consider: Mulch, Thought Scour, maybe Artful Dodge to get the Ghoultree evasion? Just some thoughts, I've been tinkering and found those to work for me. Also, Beast Within has helped me in so many situations that its not even funny. Check out my build: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=285206 Good luck!

hmm i like the way yours plays, although it doesnt focus on splinter getting as big as mine. i do lack a little in the early game, but my build focuses on splinter getting as big as possible even if the game takes a while. (i tend to play multiplayer) but thanks a lot for the help!
oh and thanks, i completely forgot about artful dodge, it will make a nice addition in here, hopefully getting me the one hit kill :)
I've been running a splinter deck for a long time and at first glance I would say you are missing some milling. I'd switch Ponder for Mulch and then skip merfolk looter and get screeching skaab instead. You can bring Boneyard Wurm, Kessig Cagebreakers and Ghoultree down to 3 since they all need some stuff in the GY before they will really come out and play. I run 4 Phantasmal Bears and 4 Llanowar elves for early game. I've never found I need any card draw with my splinter deck. I've currently revamping my old U/G splinter however to R/G, it brings some other nice things to the board, have a look if you like: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=343599
now i kept looter in my hand because it helps me discard the extra creatures from my hand, but i am a huge fan of mulch, i can get more land to work with and beef up my main big guys. Thanks a lot
good deck...nice and cheap built! ;;) but if you want a splinter stompee for real add some forbidden alchemies....if you like check this built out...;) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=342854
i thought about adding forbidden alchemy but i went with mulch and trackers instinct instead, thank yo a lot for your input :)
