This is a casual, mono green, tribal deck that focuses on wolves. This deck falls into the Under $100 series. The Under $100 series was designed to offer competitive decks for an affordable price.
The first couple turns for this deck involve playing Young Wolf and Timber Wolves. Turn three is when this deck really begins to accelerate. Growing Rites of Itlimoc quickly becomes a powerful mana ramp once this deck starts producing wolf tokens. These tokens are created primarily by the other turn three spell; Silverfur Partisan. Silverfur Partisan makes it so that playing spells like Setessan Tactics, Swell of Growth and Warriors' Lesson will generate at minimum one wolf token per Partisan. Once your start generating tokens, Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun combined with Setessan Tactics can easily double the amount of tokens you have. Turn four yields Parallel Lives and Master of the Wild Hunt. Both of these cards increase the number of wolves in your pack. Howl of the Night Pack is a powerful token generator, often brining in seven wolves to fight for you. Should you already have either more than seven forests or a Parallel Lives on the battlefield this potent spell will yield even more tokens. A finally card in this deck that become a game changer is the spell Moonmist. This spell nullifies all combat damage done to your wolves while still allowing them to deal damage to your opponent. This allows your wolves to decimate an army without losing a single pup.
