I would maybe suggest replacing one Lightning Strike/Dismissive Pyromancer, and one Experimental Frenzy for two The Flame of Keld

This deck is great. The only thing I might offer is The Flame of Keld. The second and third lore abilities help restock your hand and allows you to power-up any spells you might store for that turn. Because of the pace of this deck, the first ability is not very hindering. I don't know what you would switch it out with without removing a couple of your wizards. Also, I don't play standard so feel free to ignore these comments if they don't apply.
Grave Titan wouldn't be bad, but it would triple the current cost of the deck. Honestly, splashing blue and adding Intruder Alarm would give you infinite 5/5 Flying demons. But I see what you're getting at. I was just happy that you could essentially trade a creature from the graveyard each turn. Any thoughts on cheap "big bombs"?
Just a suggestion, but I have two cards that I think would benefit your deck. Instead of the three Rabid Bites consider adding three Nature's Ways. Nature's Way does everything that Rabid Bite does while also giving your creature vigilance and trample for the turn. Or the card Prey Upon works will in this deck as well. By combining the Fight mechanic with vigor you're powering up your own creature while dealing damage to an opponents creature.
I have tried to make the deck work as quickly as possible. Golgari Thug, Stinkweed Imp, and Stitcher's Supplier help to get cards in the graveyard relatively quickly. Once the former two creatures enter the graveyard, combining them with cycling can really net some huge self mill. Honestly though, I have only gone through sample hands when testing out this deck. Doing that I have found that the deck is able to get the 20 creatures into the graveyard by turn 5-6 about 75% of the time. I have actually found that it can be harder to play Mortal Combat, because you often mill it into your graveyard. I realize this deck isn't the fastest, but I have tried to keep it under $100. Like all decks, adding more expensive cards would make this deck much faster and more consistent. If you have any ideas on making the deck more consistent I would gladly take them into consideration.
Thank you!
Thank you!!
Journey to Nowhere and Oblivion Ring
No, suspend a fanatic then worldfire. Worldfire exiles hands, graveyards and all cards on the field the sets life to one. Fanatic returns to the field when the card suspending it is exiled. You then sac the goblin and ping the opponents life for one.
That was the goal, but I wouldn't find any with a casting cost as cheap as the two fanatics.
I can see why you'f keep this deck. I like the versatility it brings. It offers various win conditions in addition to maze; as well as multiple ways for staying alive. While it may be higher in cost than the deck I designed I think a deck like this one is the next logical step for Maze should you have the money/ cards to utilize.
That is a good point. I've tweaked the deck by adding some landfall permanents that gain heath. Hopefully that will allow the deck to survive long enough. It's defiantly slow at gaining momentum.
Thank you. I've been pushing off designing it for a while. Happy it's finally up
I have found it to be fun. I wish there were more variety with it though. Also you have a point, Ink-eyes is a great card, but the deck isn't going to put lots of creatures in the graveyard. Initially I believe I was deterred by Oni's cost but after looking at it he offers far better utility. Thank you for your input.
I like Pathbreaker. Thank you for introducing these to me
You should it's fun!
One that has living goats
Wait, I misunderstood. Pasture is there as a poor way to make goats. The sacrifice ability seldom to never used.
I see the issue. But personally I'd never sacrifice my goat friends.
Yeah, I contemplated that and crusade I just went for it for Crusade to add another white mana to the field for Springjack Shepard
