sorry, doran means that your creatures deal damage with their toughness, tower defense is an instant for 1green and 1 that gives all your creatures +0/+5 So basically if you have doran out they all deal another 5 damage for 2 mana
thanks for the tip, i was just looking up flying defense for the sideboard and that certainly does the trick
