Deck Description

The deck is a cheap discard modern deck for people on a budget. I decided to build this as an extra deck to give to someone that might need something to play that day and ended up really liking it myself after seeing how well the deck preformed. Yes I know "Thoughtseize," isn't really cheap but it was my replacement for "Duress," since it is clearly better. If you decided to build this for yourself I would highly recommend investing in the "Thoughtseize," over the "Duress," because it’s not going to decrease in price anymore (will probably only increase) and it way more powerful.

How to Play

To play this deck is very simple, you really just play the discard spell as you can afford to play them. Only thing you have to do is switch out the kill spells depending on what you’re up against (I would try to stick with only a max of the 5 kill spells as you tend to not need them if you are making them discard correctly). As far as the 4 "Distress," go, I haven't ever needed to side them in. If you really felt you needed more discard power you could switch them in for the rats maybe.

Deck discussion for Modern Discard

Nice and straight discard. Add Bloodchief Ascension maybe.

I thought about that only issue is it could clog up the deck so it would ether b only a 2 of in the deck or maybe a sideboard.
