i have to ask, why are you playing flooded over misty?

that was something I thought about but id rather leave him in with the way you set your deck up so you could have a turn 3 win
ohh my fault I didn't know what format you played, I play modern too. you should consider invest in the stomping grounds because they wont decrease in price. In fact they will only increase.
wall lets you draw and it can be devoured? you might also consider tezzeret's gambit for draw and play stomping ground for lands rather than the scry lands
you should consider playing wall of blossoms rather than visionary for early defense and pull Vols out and put in Xenagos. I would also consider playing 4 beast withins
I would say ur next step it to better focus the deck and look for your best options for cards. like I would play wall of blossoms and sylvan caryatid, plus ull need counter spells like remand and removal like beast within
well its best to play test and see what u like best rather than jam everything into one deck hahaand yes as cool as it is to switch your game plan with a sideboard like that, it is better to have a reactive sideboard to deal with things that might create issues for the deck( I just build the gilder deck this morning after looking it over last night)this is the current deck I play for modern....http://www.mtgvault.com/kidgrim/decks/american-twin-modern-combo/it is expensive and it wins about 90% of the time, iv topped with it more times than I can count. But...... it can get boring and I know not everyone wants to just throw over a grand into cardboard. Fortunately I made the deck before everything became expensive (back when I only paid maybe 200-300 for it) and the majority of my magic cards have paid for themselves through winning and investing
yes, simic charm is very powerful and could be a better answer in more situation rather than "avoid fate"
the deck would work, the only thing to keep in mind is what was talked about in the other discussion. the less cards needed for a combo the better. these are all just fun decks for the most part unless you had the balls to actually play in a tourney with this( which it would probably just get beat out by an agro or T1 deck). combos are always super fun in theory but sometimes not really worth it.here is my build for the simic deckhttp://www.mtgvault.com/kidgrim/decks/gilder-combo-winmodern/here is a supper cheap modern deck that doesn't cost more than 15 bucks if u put duress in for thoughtseize (this is just an example of a simple junk deck that is effective and cheap!)http://www.mtgvault.com/kidgrim/decks/modern-discard/
nope, simic charm gives all your permanents hexproof
I guess you could do that but then your talking about playing vintage or legacy where this deck will not hold up, plus once again your adding another card to your win con and you want as little cards as possible for combos/ protection. Don't forget you do have the simic charm to give everything hexproof if needed, but your also hoping to win turn 4 if everything has gone correctly
@squidfreak every deck should have a plan A or B so obviously with a combo deck you might not always get them. There is no point to having infinite mana cause the deck doesn't have a use for it. Anyways its more of a fun combo because it takes 4 cards as opposed T1 combos that only require 2 cards for the combo such as "splinter twin" and "pestermite"
just saying choker would be a bad choice cause in response to u ending ur turn after u put counters on it they could destroy the artifact, darksteel reactor makes you auto win when it gets enough counters and its indestructible
so its got more than 1 win con. ether way I think its a fun deck cause there are more competitive ways to play this combo. like with darksteel reactor
I'd like to point out that the deck can do infinite damage since you didn't see that.
i know about that combo troopa, but drakeraenes is correct its already not a t1 combo since it takes 4 cards even thought its seems easy enough. better as a 4 card combo than a 5
After much review I have put together what I think is the most efficient modern deck for this combo: http://www.mtgvault.com/kidgrim/decks/gilder-combo-winmodern/Yes, there are so many fun cards in simic but the majority of them are just "fun cards" and are not really needed for the deck to work at its max potential. let me know what you think!

Loved the deck idea so I made my own version of it, its very similar but I would play "Cloudfin Raptor," over Bogle since you can give any of your creatures hex proof with the Frogling (Cloudfin makes the deck more aggressive). I would also consider trying to stall the game and play a more powerful planeswalker like karn.
I thought about that only issue is it could clog up the deck so it would ether b only a 2 of in the deck or maybe a sideboard.
