No need for the guildgates, slow down mana acceleration. Add another stensia and mountain in replacement. Also, consider placing in lillianna of the Veil... shes a good planeswalker for control at a 3 drop. Maybe add her to your sideboard? Also, mutilates can very quickly become killers of even your creatueres, which would not benefit you at all with Dark Realms. Furthermore, burn is obviously lacking in this deck... where are your piullar of flames? 1 drop for red that eliminates many early creatures with good abilities and acts as burn later on ... can't go wrong with them. And yes, like the guy above me suggested, 2 more dreadbore, but keep the rakdos's returns.... massive slap across the face for any control deck right there.

I like this deck. It's a decent start to a vampire deck. I would, however, recommend a few tweaks... The killing waves don't help you at all, they hinder a deck like this as it is an aggro deck. Also, you have too many creature control destroy cards.. it might be more handy to run a more aggressively creature base deck and sideboard all but 6 of them. This is what I run, and I find that it works extremely well against most decks... Creatures: 4x Stromkirk Noble 4x Child of Night 4x Vampire Interloper 2x Blood Artist 4x Vampire Nighthawk 4x Stromkirk Captain 4x Vampire Nocturnus 2x Bloodline Keeper 2x Olivia Voldaren Lands 4x Dragonskull Summit 4x Cavern of Souls 4x Blackcleave Cliffs 4x Evolving Wilds 6x Swamps 2x Mountains Spells 4x Go for the Throat 2x Tragic Slip Side Board 4x Dismember 4x Doomblade 4x Murder 2x tragic slip 1x Lilliana of the Veil Different situations call for different usages from these cards. Lilliana is fun, but theres no need for her in the main deck. When someone uses the likes of Wild Guesses and Faithless Looting, however, she can be quit the pain in the ass. Obviously doom blades sub out go for the throats for artifact decks, murders for artifact/black decks (I actually came across one) and if you feel like you need more control. Tragic slips work well against morbid/birthing pod decks or decks with lots of 1 toughness creatures. Dismember works exceptionally well when dealing with lack of mana, which early in the game you should be spending almost all of your mana each turn. In addition, life link gets back the health you would pay to use them. With m13 bringing back Sign in Blood, however, I've been contemplating to throw some of them in there in place of these dismembers...
I have a similar vampire deck, but I think mine runs a lot better. Like the guy ahead of me said, there are not many good one or two drop vamps in circulation right now. You have to make up for this somehow, I did so in mine with life gaining techniques. One drop still stromkirk nobles, but for two drop, child of night and blood artists are very good life gaining cards. Blood artists even bring down opponents life, and with an aggressive deck like vamps, creatures dying should be normal. Also Vampire interlopers for a 2 drop with 2 power and flying is a great addition. What the guy said ahead of me about Vampire Nocturnus, IGNORE! He made some valid points, but remember, most of a vampire deck is going to be black with only a splash of red. Lands are colourless, yes, so add in 4 evolving wilds for shuffle effects. FOUR Vampire Nocturnus's are MANDATORY in a vampire deck as they win games for you. But anyways, here's what I run: Creatures: 4x Stromkirk Noble 4x Child of Night 4x Vampire Interloper 2x Blood Artist 4x Vampire Nighthawk 4x Stromkirk Captain 4x Vampire Nocturnus 2x Bloodline Keeper 2x Olivia Voldaren Lands 4x Dragonskull Summit 4x Cavern of Souls 4x Blackcleave Cliffs 4x Evolving Wilds 6x Swamps 2x Mountains Spells 4x Go for the Throat 2x Tragic Slip The strategy with my deck is simple. Crush you opponent before he can touch you, with the help of lifelink it works a large portion of the time. Very rarely will flying via Vampire nighthawks, Bloodline Keepers, Olvia's and VAMPIRE NOCTURNUS! not give you a massive advantage. If you do find yourself at a disadvantage creature wise, it doesn't hurt to hold back your deathtouch giving Nighthawk's with first strike from Stromkirk Captains to deal with the creatures. If that's not enough... take a look at my sideboard... various spells for various situations. Side Board 4x Dismember 4x Doomblade 4x Murder 2x tragic slip 1x Lilliana of the Veil Different situations call for different usages from these cards. Lilliana is fun, but theres no need for her in the main deck. When someone uses the likes of Wild Guesses and Faithless Looting, however, she can be quit the pain in the ass. In addition, life link gets back the health you would pay to use them. With m13 bringing back Sign in Blood, however, I've been contemplating to throw some of them in there in place of these dismembers... Hope this is helpful. I'm not saying the guy ahead of me had some bad ideas or anything, it's just I've played this vampire deck and it runs really well against most decks.
Nice deck.... and it's affordable.
nice butt.... say what?
