Kamigawa sucks, right? Arcane spells are stupid?Well... I have found a way to make them playable.Tainted Remedy is a fun card that isn't competitive, but certainly unique. Now I know there are better Tainted Remedy decks, but this one is kind of different.T.R. + arcane spells, and roar of jukai= dead opponent. If you wanted to make this modern legal false cure can be removed for something like Opt.Comments and suggestions welcome. to make it modern legal, swap false cure for devour flesh.Budget build is here:https://www.mtgvault.com/kazzong/decks/budget-ub-spliced-remedy/
The most important cards in the deck are Tainted Remedy (of course), Roar of jukai, and any other arcane spells you can splice Roar on. Funny enough you never actually cast Roar.and even if your spell gets countered it doesn't matter because the life gain /loss is part of the cost, not the effect. So play Tainted Remedy as quickly as possible. Followed by as many arcane spells as possible, spliced with Roar. Preferably Reach Through Mists because it is cheap and cantrips, possibly allowing for another to be drawn. Not a bad deal right? Pay U, target opponent loses 5 life: draw a card.Everything else either enables you to search for your combo pieces or splice Roar. Eerie Procession does both! Finally creeping tar pits allows for a decent clock if Remedy gets taken off the table. For a budget friendly deck the fetch lands can be swapped for cheaper ones, and the shock land swapped for cheaper dual lands or even basics.

thanks. I like making decks that are... unconventional. :)
