Deck Description

well, this is a stupid turn 1 deck that I thought up, and wanted to remember it. comments are welcome.

How to Play

ok, step 1: play great furnace, a mox, and a black lotus.
step 2: tap great furnace for a red mana, use black lotus for blue mana and play tinker, sacrificing great furnace, search for blightsteel.
step 3: play messenger's speed on blightsteel, and attack and win.

pact of negation and force of will are to make sure that nothing prevents the damage from going through.

Deck discussion for Tinkering with banned cards

I sense shenanagins! I like the deck! Save for the price ...

Oh yeah. Shenanigans abound in this deck. My brother asked why certain cards were banned. (tinker in particular.)
So I came up with this to show him why. :)
Admittedly it was pretty fun to design this.

And yeah the 57 grand price tag is KIND OF a put off. But... Turn one Blightsteel with trample and haste... Yeah...

I think that it would be fun to play with a deck like this once, just to say that I did. You know?

Yes. I mean, that's why so many people love Nothern's $1 deck. It's similar to my desire to play with Jace, The Mind Sculptor.

Though if Mr. Force Spike happened along ...

Oh, and all this deck needs is show and tell, then it's completely broken.

Lol... Can't believe I forgot show and tell!!! Gotta add that to the sideboard until I find a way to skip it in here. Maybe swap it for the crimson wisps?

I did. It looks crazy fun to play with. What do you normally put into the mirrors? Skullcrack?

Anything =). You're right though, Skullcrack is my go to, with Mizzium Mortars close behind (especially if I overloaded it).

Although can you play it from the mirror for the overload cost, since it is casting it for free?

According to the rules, only if I paid the overload cost when I imprinted it.

Ah. I guess that makes sense. Sweet. :). Although that is a bit pricey mana-wise isn't it?

4 damage to EVERYTHING ... nah, especially if I brought Goblin Electromancer along. Unfortunately, he doesn't play nice with most of the instants.

Well... It is 11 total to pay for the mirror and the overload. But yeah, totally worth it if you can get the mana. :) and multiple mirrors for multiple spells as well. :) way cool.

Or ... you imprint the mirror with Mizzium Mortars, and Isochron Scepter with Fork!

Nice... Get 8 damage to everything that isn't yours... FOR ONLY 2 MANA!!!! EVERY TURN!!!!!! Wow... That is just crazy...
