Deck Description

Figured out an immensely powerful combo while playing with some friends, and built on it. Finally put together.
The combo here is 2 myr galvanizers and at least a palladium myr, or 2 of another kind of myr.
tap myrs for mana, then use part of that mana to untap my myrs with the galvanizers. that allows me to have inf. mana, so... I can also create an inf. amount of propagator tokens and inf damage with the longbow, or inf. life loss with exsanguinate, or inf. counters on helix pinnacle.

I thought about putting strength of the tajuru in but that seemed like overkill to me.
Also have heavy arbelast if I wanted to swap for the longbow as well. since longbow is an older card. But since scars is rotating out soon anyways, I will keep The longbow instead.

I don't have everything for the side board yet.

Any comments or suggestions would very appreciated! :)

9/4/2012: Deck concept updated: made some changes based on comments. Added memnarch and supporting cards to the sideboard, and took out the dash hopes, fog, and plague myr. Added tangle, 2 more propagators, and 2 more palladium myrs.
memnarch is only there if complete humiliation is needed. Because he isn't a myr.

Once again, suggestions are still welcome.

Deck discussion for myr fury

heres my thoughts: plague, copper, leaden, palladium, alloy myr. You have FIFTEEN mana sources...you could do with a solid 8 or 9. maybe just narrow it down to copper, leaden and palladium in multiples that are comfortable for you. Fog is better than tanglesap. I dont really care for virdian longbow or dash hopes. I think these could be better as removal spells(your playing black, use it) such as 3X tragic slip & 3x go for the throat. lastly, you dont explain your "emmensely powerful combo" ever. I see what you are speaking about after soem closer review, but maybe you should look at adding additional helix pennicles. it appears your deck is more about those winning conditions, as opposed to agro..so, lets stall some more with more fog and fog like spells. here is my final synopsis:
Please check out my decks!
Artifacts
3x Copper Myr
3x Leaden Myr
2x myr turbine
4x Myr Galvanizer
3xPalladium Myr
Enchantments
4xHelix Pinnacle
1x Asceticism
Land
10x Swamp
10x Forest
Spells
4x fog
4x tanglesap
1x Relic Crush
2x Exsanguinate
1x Beast Within
2x Diabolic Tutor
3x go for the throat
3x tragic slip

cool, thanks for the comment. I like fog, or blunt the assault better than tanglesap as well, but I don't have either of those cards right now.
As for the combo... inf damage from plinking with the myrs, with the longbows. in general the inf tapping and untapping myrs for mana, or for damage, or for tokens, or the exsanguinate, or the helix pinnacle.

I have to agree with smn when it comes to taking out the plague myrs, they really don't make any sense when you could put two more Palladium Myrs in instead, after all, Pal Myr is the easiest key to your combo.

Are you trying to keep this deck from using older cards deliberately? IMHO Tangle is the best one shot fog card in the game, protecting you for two consecutive turns while leaving your enemy open at the same time.

Again agreeing with smn when he says dash hopes is not necessary, you can always throw in two more exsanguinates. It'll help you get to one of your kill combos faster and without tutoring!

If you want to change things up, Epic Struggle could work just as well as helix pinnacle since you can make inf tokens. If you went that route you would want 4 propegators (for tokens) and 4 battlespheres (so you could also win by dealing inf damage if necessary).

I had another idea while typing but now that I have gotten this far I forget! Lol, have fun with the deck, but personally, I dislike infinite combos.

PS. Thanks for the comment on my deck, glad you liked it. If you want to see another fun deck I built, check this one out.

It's a combo deck that can wipe a multiplayer table out in a single attack from a single creature and can net you hundreds of life, but it's best played in casual because it takes a while to get going. It never goes infinite, it just feels like it's infinite. :)

I just remembered my other idea for this deck!

Memnarch

Then your opponents give up.

You would need to change the deck colors to include blue (silver myr), but the principle for creating infinite mana from myrs would still be the same. You wouldn't need to win, you could just steal ALL the permanents in play!

Imagine. How. Hilarious. That. Would. Be.

To be honest, I like inf. Combos, but only to a certain point. This one just caught my attention when scars came out. Particularly since no one had posted anything like it at the time. As for the plague myr... I will probably sideboard it if you guys really think it doesn't fit. And memnarch... Wow... That is just pure evil. Vile, foul, and inhumane. I like it. Even though he isn't a myr, he will get sideboarded as well. In case I need to really trounce someone..
and no, I am not purposely avoiding old cards, I just have a very limited knowledge of them, since I have only been playing for about 3 years now. Any suggestions about older cards would be great.

Well, I will make the changes to thus deck here, and buy the cards that I need for it at some point in the (hopefully) near future. College students tend to have very little money.

Hey Kazzong,

Since since you seem to like crazy fast combos. I've just posted a new killer combo that makes infinite life and infinite damage and infinite card draw that can go off turn 1 and even has some built in disruption prevention. Check it out

why would you have Plauge Myr when you aren't running Infect? I would take it out and put in another Copper and Leaden Myr.

To get around indestructible and regenerate. -1/-1 counters can do that.

If you can get a lot of creatures out fast. I would suggest Beastmaster Ascension.

I don't think that there is a B/G version of Tempered Steel.

The beastmaster ascension would do it. +5/+5 to all your creatures.
